Grand "Bottle" Opening

Newest additions to the winery family.
Bidders on first bottles.
We had a great celebration at the Winery.  The auction of the first wines of the Winery was amazing! We raised $1,100.  This money has been donated to the Hope Center (see picture below) which provides food and clothing to families in need.  Thanks to all of the bidders for their contribution to this worthy cause.  A special thanks to Robert and Diane Bullock for their Funnel Cakes and Continuous Potato Chip delights and their generous contribution to the Hope Center.  Thanks also to David Haddle of Up the Creek Winery (Burksville, Cumberland County) for his contribution.

Over 300 folks visited the winery throughout the day.  Craft and art vendors offered interesting and quality items for sale.  We had great music and food.

Enjoy a few pictures of the day!

You must have great help to have an event like we had.  I want to thank Joyce, Jim, Emily and Don for their assistance in bringing everything together.  I also want to thank Doug Choate for his assistance in the music area.

Of course we thank you the visitors, guests and patrons of Lake Cumberland Winery for taking your time to support this enterprise.  We hope that you will do the "Like" thing on Facebook (Lake Cumberland Winery) and other sites, comeback from time to time to see what is happening.  You can leave your email address above on the right which will let us keep you posted on events.

Thanks to my lovely wife, Nancy for all of her help and support!  Cheers, Norrie
